The Life of Jane J. Oswald

Jane J. (Eschenbach) Oswald, 84, of Alburtis, died Sunday, September 16, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the loving wife of Lloyd B. Oswald. They were married June 30, 1951. Born in Alburtis, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. and Helen R. (Heiser) Eschenbach. Jane was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, Alburtis, where she was a Sunday School teacher and served as a former member of Consistory for 14 years. Mrs. Oswald worked as a retail clerk at Josh Early Candies, Allentown, and The United States Postal Service. She was also active in Camp Fire Girls for ten years.

In addition to her husband of 67 years, Lloyd, Jane is survived by a daughter, Robin Sue (Oswald), wife of Stephen C. Ramer, Upper Milford Township; and two sons, Lloyd B. Oswald, Wilmington, NC and Kim K. Oswald, Sarasota, Florida. Other survivors include five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Jane's life will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. from Church of the Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 135 Quarry Road, Alburtis, with the Reverend Homer E. Royer, officiating. Relativve and friends may call Thursday, from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the church. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
