The Life of Michael F. Finer

Michael F. “Mickey” Finer, formerly of Orange, entered into rest on Sunday August 26, 2018 in Hewitt Memorial Hospital, Shelton. He was the devoted husband to the late Phyllis (Yarosh) Finer. Michael was born in Derby son of the late Michael and Mildred (Lesko) Finer. Mickey started his career as a chef working at Blumenthal’s. He then owned and operated the Finer Real Estate in Shelton for many years. He loved to Traveled and spend time with his family. He is survived by his daughter in Susan Finer, one grandson, one sister Eleanor Haluschak and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Joseph Finer and two sisters Dorothy Chapman and Anne Kunz. Friends may call on Thursday from 10:30 to 11:00 am at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home 253 Elizabeth St. Derby. His funeral service will be held at 11 am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery
