Susan M. Bick, 59, of Aston, PA, died August 19, 2018 at Riddle Memorial Hospital.

Born and raised in SW Phila, she was a graduate of John Bartram High, class of 1977, where she excelled in Track and Field. Susan was a member of Lima United Methodist Church and enjoyed taking care of animals of all kinds.

As a member of a local bird club, she met with others who had similar interests. She was outgoing and fun loving, leaving a lasting impression with all who knew her. Compassionate and empathetic, her concern for people and animals alike was apparent to all. Her final gift was to the Gift of Life program; donating her corneas so someone might regain the use of sight.

Her career began at a local bridal shop in Southwest Philadelphia later moving to the bridal salon at JC Penney when the Granite Run Mall opened. Following the closing of the bridal salon, she found a niche in jewelry sales and eventually became manager of jewelry at Sears, working at Granite Run for 29 years. Her ongoing interest in the field led her to become a certified gemologist.

During the 1990s she successfully became was a licensed real estate agent, working for Century 21 Reber in Drexel Hill, Long and Foster and was currently employed with Entourage Elite Real Estate.

Daughter of the late Ernest Bick, Sr. and sister of the late Ernest, Jr., Survivors: include her partner of over 15 years, Daniel Ferriera, her mother Helen Bick and sister, Carol (David) Muniz, nephews Jonathan and Matthew Muniz and countless friends.

Service: Funeral Service will be 11:30 Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington, where friends may call after 10:30 am.
