Beverly Elizabeth Eichner

Eichner, Beverly Elizabeth (Klipple) passed away surrounded by her family and friends at her home in Berwyn, PA. on August 11, 2018.

She was born July 29, 1935 in Easton, PA. and was the daughter of Russell Howard and Alda Irene Klipple (Hillpot). Through her childhood and adolescence Beverly enjoyed and excelled in athletics, competing in track, field hockey and lacrosse.

After graduating from Haverford High School in 1953, she attended nursing school at Presbyterian Hospital in West Philadelphia. This is where she met her future husband Lambert George "Skip" Eichner, where he was an intern at the hospital. They married August 16, 1957 and were happily married for over 53 years until Skip passed away in 2011.

Beverly lived a full life, devoting herself to family and having an interest in many activities. She was an avid gardener, an excellent cook and provided the perfect holiday celebrations, including hosting the annual Thanksgiving feast. She had a real love of dancing and enjoyed singing along to a wide variety of music. Together with Skip she enthusiastically cheered and supported her children through their activities and challenges.

Beverly is survived by her four children Ken, Cheryl (partner Saul), Bill and Nancy White (spouse James), two grandchildren Chloe and Christopher and her sisters Julia Stiefel (Charles) and Cynthia Smith (Richard)

Relatives and friends are invited to her memorial service Saturday, Sept. 1, 2018 at 11:00AM at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, 2220 Sproul Road, Broomall, PA

Interment: Private
