The Life of Gregory J. Farrell

Mr. Farrell was born in Bridgeport on June 26, 1952, son of the late Robert Farrell and Margery Gregory Baker. He was in drywall, painting and sales until forming Farrell Painting in the nineties. He loved golfing, fishing, shooting pool and cooking for family and friends. He was a former member of the Derby Elks and a Trustee at St. Sebastian Men’s Club in Ansonia, where he enjoyed cooking up Saturday lunches. Greg absolutely loved his friends and his best times were spent with them. In addition to his wife Mary Ellen, he is survived by sisters, Eileen Kochiss, Peggy Benway and Patricia Thornhill, a brother, Joseph Baker, brother-in-law, Ken Kurimsky and several nieces and nephews. His felines, Daisy, Dusty and Squintz will miss their pal. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Farrell. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday July 17, 2018 from 4:00-7:00 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLIRICCIUTI/BEDNAR-OSIECKI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver St. in Ansonia. On Wednesday, his funeral will take place at 10:00 am (DIRECTLY) at Holy Rosary Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Ansonia.
