The Life of James C Beadle Sr.

James C. Beadle Sr., 82, of Pottsville, passed away Friday at his home with his family by his side.

Born in Auburn, Nov. 12, 1935, he was a son of the late Cecil A. and Norma Lawrence Beadle, and loving husband of the late Ruth Ann Motley Beadle.

James was a weapons expert with a top secret clearance in the Army Military Police. He was a security guard at Raven Rock and Camp David Complex during the Cold War.

He was last employed at H.L. Miller Corp., Schuylkill Haven, until retirement. He was a member of Wadesville Fire Company and Saint Clair Old Timers Baseball Association.

As a member of the AF of M, he played guitar and sang with many local and touring bands, the last 40 years with the Sensations.

James was the last member of his immediate family and is survived by his son, James A. Beadle Jr. He is also survived by his loving caretakers, Marie Yanchick and Lisa Quinn, both of Seltzer.

A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow in the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.grabowskifuneralhome.com.
