Robert B. Foote, 88, of Avon Park, Florida, passed away on Monday.

Robert was the husband of Betty Foote who survives. The couple celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on Jan. 18, 1018.

Robert was born Nov. 25, 1929, in East Stroudsburg, and was the son of the late Frank Foote Sr. and Elizabeth Myrick.

He was a graduate of East Stroudsburg High School, class of 1947. Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was formerly employed by Kistler Printing Company in East Stroudsburg.

Robert was a former member of the Glen Brook Country Club in Stroudsburg and Highlands Ridge Golf Club in Avon Park, Florida. He was an avid golfer.

In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his son, Douglas; sisters, June Passinger and Barbara DeBiase; and brothers, Frank Foote Jr. and James Foote.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by his daughter-in-law, Bonnie Foote of Lehighton; sisters, Alma Brands of East Stroudsburg and Ann Forte (Baldo) of Milford, Connecticut.

A private graveside service will be held on the ground of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven at a later date.
