Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille for Charles Ray Wallace, 87, who passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 at Camelot of Broussard. The family requests that visitation be observed in Martin & Castille's DOWNTOWN location on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until time of services.

Deacon Cody Miller will conduct the funeral services. Interment will be in Holy Mary Mother of God Cemetery.

Survivors include his children, Garret Morvant and his wife Angela, Gwen Morvant Miller and her husband Kerry, and Blake Morvant and his fiancée Angela Meche; five grandchildren, Summer Miller, Dexter Miller and wife Brittany, Brittni Morvant, Kyrstin Morvant and Chloe Vincent; four great grandchildren, Ryker Quebodeaux, Kaiz Green, Sadie Miller, and Coraline Miller; and his beloved nieces.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia D. Wallace; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Wallace, Sr.; his siblings, Walter Wallace, Jr., Lorice Anderson and Ivy Wallace; and one nephew, John Walter.

Charles was the office manager of The Daily Advertiser for many years. He was also a Certified Public Accountant. He and his late wife Patricia loved traveling, especially to vacation destinations to find snow.
