The Life of Joan Anne Ebling

Joan Anne Elizabeth Ebling, 73, of Glen Burnie, Md., passed away Monday, at Hospice of the Chesapeake, Pasadena, Md.

Born in Pottsville, July 15, 1944, she was a daughter of the late George and Joan Dodds Liddle.

She was the loving wife of Ralph D. Ebling.

Joan Anne was formerly employed at Pottsville Bleach & Dye, Port Carbon, and Bank of America as a tax accountant.

She was a member of Church of the Crucifixion, Glen Burnie, Md.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Georgenne Liddle.

In addition to her husband, Joan Anne is survived by two daughters, Emily Zick and husband, Michael, Carlisle, and Suzanne Gerczynski and husband, Scott, Glen Burnie, Md.; grandchildren, Megan and Ryan Zick, and Drew, Katie and Jake Gerczynski; a sister, Rosemary Kochubka and husband, Robert, Denver; nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ebling-Stabingas Funeral Home, 26 Chestnut St., Cressona. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Stephen's Roman Catholic Church, Port Carbon, with Monsignor William F. Glosser officiating.
