The Life of Marlin E Morgan Jr.

Marlin E. Morgan Jr., 77, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday at home.

Born in Frackville, on July 15, 1940, he was a son of the late Marlin E. Morgan Sr. and Arlene Morgan.

He was the husband of Dolores M. Kerschner Morgan.

Following high school graduation, Marlin received a business administration degree from Penn State University.

He served in the Navy.

Marlin attended First United Methodist Church, Schuylkill Haven.

He worked as a nursing home administrator and most recently as a delivery driver for Haven Line Casket Co.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Morgan.

In addition to his wife, Marlin is survived by two daughters, Melanie Hess and husband, Duane, Schuylkill Haven, and Teri Callaghan and husband, Brian, Pine Grove; and two sons, Kevin W. Lord and wife, Paula, Lake Wynonah, and Jeffrey Lord, Orwigsburg. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Ida Sheeler, Cumbola; brother, George Morgan, Florida.

A Celebration of Life funeral service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Geschwindt-Stabingas Funeral Home Inc., Schuylkill Haven, with the Rev. Dr. Christopher Fisher officiating. A viewing will be held from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
