The Life of Diane Louise Keith

Diane Louise Keith, 72, of Pekin, passed away at 2:36 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018 at UnityPoint Health-Methodist in Peoria. Born September 29, 1945 in Stamford, CT to William and Dorothy (Gross) Parmer, she married Harold R. Keith on February 5, 1966 in Alexandria, VA.

Surviving are two daughters, Audra (Steve) Edwards of Woodbridge, VA and Melissa Gregory of Pekin; five grandchildren, Taylor Edwards, Lauren Gregory, Blake Edwards, Sean Gregory and Jillian Gregory; seven sisters, Judy Morgan of Roanoke, VA, Susy Kelleher of Moorefield, WV, Pam (Terry) Gillespie of Mauldin, SC, Becky (Daryl) Viosca of Colorado Springs, CO, Wendy Anderson of Thaxton, VA, Nancy Hunter of Roanoke, VA, Jennifer (Jeff) Gray of Blue Ridge, VA and one brother, Bill (Dee) Parmer, Jr. of Indian Valley, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She had worked for National Tooling and Machining Association in Ft. Washington, MD. She then worked for National Association of Professional Insurance Agents in Alexandria, VA, retiring in 1997 as Director of Human Resources. She then worked until 2010 as a greeter for the Chamber of Commerce in Ft. Myers, FL.

Her funeral will be at 12 noon Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Everly-Wheatley Funeral Home in Alexandria, VA. Pastor Dave Nobles of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church in Woodbridge, VA, will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Ivy Hill Cemetery in Alexandria, VA. Local arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
