The Life of Carol A. Taylor

Carol Ann Taylor, 74, of Quarryville, PA, formerly of Collingdale, passed away on Wednesday, June6, 2018 at her home. She was the beloved wife of Dennis S. Taylor, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edward Charles and Emma (Fitzroy) Donnelly.

Carol Ann was a graduate of Collingdale High School, class of 1964. Carol Ann dedicated many years to caring for her home and family. In her later years, she enjoyed working in the caferteria at Solance High School. She also volunteered for Solanco Food Bank, Hospice and Community Care, Solanco Fair and was a volunteer reader at the library and local elementary school.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Cindy A. Taylor, Deborah A. Taylor, Donna A. (Darrin) Mills, Dennis S. Taylor,Jr. and Richard A. (Christine) Taylor, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. She was predceded in death by 3 brothers and one sister.

A Viewing will be held on Monday June 11 from 9:30 to 11:00 am at Dewald Funderal and Cremation Services, 227 West 4th St., Quarryville, Pa 17566.

A Graveside Service and Interment for Carol Ann will be held at 1 PM on Monday, June 11, at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Road, Drexel Hill, PA 19026.
