Co-worker and Friend

I worked with Charlie for over 25 years at Carpenter. I couldn't have asked for a more dedicated, intelligent, energetic, and caring co-worker. Charlie's technical knowledge and capabilities were second to none. He was responsible for Carpenter's Cryogenic Gas storage and distribution network. He was our expert on furnace gas atmospheres. He designed and built a state of the art anhydrous ammonia storage & supply system. He was salaried and received no pay for overtime, but on several occasions he worked thru the night (over 24 consecutive hours) to complete projects. And there was never any question about quality. Charlie's projects always met his high personal standards. I'll always be grateful to Charlie for his hard work and strong support over many years.  As great of an employee as he was, he was an even better, caring friend with a big heart. Until we meet again, peace be with you Charlie.

Friends Forever

My wife Ruth and I were fortunate to meet Charlie and Gabrielle through mutual friends. We went out to eat with Charlie and Gabrielle and three other couples and had a wonderful time always. But we lost one couple and now Charlie. Time does break up that " OLD GANG" but we know those who have gone before are smiling that we can still enjoy each others company. Charlie will surely be missed by many and we pray God's everlasting peace and rest for him. Be strong Gabrielle, George and Ruth Ramsey IN GOD WE TRUST
