The Life of Carol L. Master

Carol L. (Clemens) Master, 77, of Longswamp Township, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.  She was the widow of Howard A. Master, Jr., who died September 2, 2005.  Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of the late Harry F. and Dorothy E. (Zuber) Clemens.  Mrs. Master was a former member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses, Kutztown. A 1961 graduate of Bryn Mawr Hospital School of Nursing, Mrs. Master worked as a Registered Nurse and nursing supervisor at Berks Heim, Bern Township, until her retirement in 1989.

Carol is survived by a daughter, Lisa A. Lund, Sacramento, Calif., sons, Jeffrey S., husband of, Lori L. (Peart) Lund, Hereford; David A. Master, Sr., Bowers; and Michael A., husband of, Gina M. (Bangor) Master, Alburtis.  Other survivors include a sister, Patricia (Clemens) Schonour, Blandon.  There are seven grandchildren, Travis S. Lund, Meghan N. Lund, David A. Master, Jr., Rebecca A. Master, Julie A. Master, Abigail R. Master and Sara A. Master.  There is also a great granddaughter, Elena M. Master.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, Inc., 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Reverend Arthur L. Hahn, officiating.  Interment in Salem Bible Church Cemetery, Macungie. Relatives and friends may call Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
