The Life of Marie Anna Carson

MarieA. (nee Kennedy) Carson, 84, of Glenolden since 1999, formerly of Collingdale, on May 5, 2009 at Crozer Chester Medical Center.

She was born June 17, 1924 in Philadelphia the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna (nee Kennedy) Kennedy.

Mrs. Carson was a homemaker and her greatest accomplishment was being a mother. She was an avid sports fan especially of the 76ers, enjoyed casino's, reading and cruising. She also loved the Ocean City MD shoreline and animals which had a very special place in her heart.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband of 32 years Raymond F. Carson Sr., two sisters Anna Laine and Emma Duffy and her brother Valentine Kennedy.

She is survived by her daughter Rae Ann Carson of Glenolden; her son Raymond F. Carson Jr. of Aldan; her granddaughter Christine Carson of Swarthmore; and also survived by her many dear friends.

Interment private.
