The Life of Norma M. Judkins

Norma M. Judkins, 84, of Willow Street, formerly of West Chester, PA passed away Monday, April 02, 2018. Born in Upper Darby, PA she was the daughter of the late Norman and Viola (Kline) March. She was the wife of Roy A. Judkins with whom she shared over 56 years of marriage.

She was a 1955 graduate of the West Chester State Teachers College where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Norma was a kindergarten teacher for the Haverford School District for many years.

Norma was an avid violin player and had the opportunity to play for the Main Line Symphony Orchestra in Montgomery Co. She loved to entertain and her hospitality was second to none along with her cooking.

In addition to her husband Roy, she is survived by two daughters, Deborah L. Ocker, wife of Michael of Lancaster, Judith A. O’Brien, wife of Brett of Newtown, PA; one grandson, Chris Bersheim, husband of Kierstin of Lancaster and two nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her brother, Norman K. March.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12Noon on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Willow Valley Retirement Community, Spring Run Auditorium, 950 Willow Valley Lakes Dr, Willow Street, PA. Family and friends will be received from 11AM-12Noon on Thursday.

Private interment will be held in Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.
