Funeral
Services will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at
Christian Life Center, 411 Verot School Road, Lafayette, LA 70508 for
Mrs. Constance "Connie" Reed Patin, 77, who passed away on March 27,
2018 at The Carpenter House.
Pastor Richard Meche will conduct the funeral services.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Patin, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Benjamin Walter Reed and the former Vivian Biessenberger. Connie enjoyed tending to her vegetable garden, fishing, journaling, trips to the beach, and sharing the Gospel of Christ.
She is survived by her son, David Troy Alford; daughters, Rebecca Alford Landry and Kim Alford Meche; step daughters, Brandon "Brandy" Patin Edwards and husband Tony, Cheryl Patin Pilcher and husband Larry; step sons, Timothy G. Patin, Eugene "Joey" Patin Jr. and wife Beth; grandchildren, Hollie Alford, Amber Alford, Charlie Alford, Brittany Wishtischin, Benjamin Landry, Casey Meche, Seth Meche, Quincy Patin, Kendall Patin, Bridget E. Richards, Revis Edwards, Jacqueline P. Taylor, Jillian Willis, Alexandra Willis, Mitchel Joseph Patin; several great grandchildren; and two cousins, Patrick Newsome and Philip Newsome, whom she was very close with.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Eugene Joseph Patin, Sr.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Christian Life Center on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 9:30AM until time of service.
Pallbearers will be Benjamin Landry, Casey Meche, Seth Meche, David Wishtischin, Philip Newsome, and Eugene "Joey" Patin Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Timothy Patin, Pat Newsome and Charles “Charlie” Alford.
The family wishes to thank Connie''s caregivers, Cathy Comeaux and Tammy Landry for their care and compassion.
