Claudine L. Wells, 91, of Overland Park, KS formerly of Olathe, KS passed away March 23, 2018 at Brookdale College Square. Claudine was born Jan. 11, 1927 in Cedar County, MO. She grew up in Cedar County, lived a short time in California and moved to Kansas City after school. She married Francis Clifford Wells in Ottawa, KS in 1945. After marriage they moved to Towanda, KS, back to Cedar, MO and then to Olathe, KS in 1956. Claudine was a homemaker but also worked with the custodial staff for the Olathe School District. She enjoyed gardening and teaching grandson, Norman, how to cook. Claudine will be dearly missed by friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francis, in 2015 and brother, Max Rains. Claudine is survived by her daughter, Patsy and husband Wayne Philipp, Olathe, KS; grandson, Norman and wife Robin Philipp and three great-grandchildren: Henry, Andrew and Helena
