The Life of Florence V. Hoffman

Florence V. Hoffman,  80, formerly of Macungie, died March 13, 2018, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township, where she was admitted from The Lutheran Home at Topton. She was the widow of Robert B. Hoffman, who died October 23, 2008.  Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Curits and Esther (Muth) Moser. Mrs. Hoffman was employed as a sewing machine operator for 28 years at the former Royal Manufacturing, Alburtis, and then for Springford Knit, Bechtelsville, for 10 years, retiring in 1999.  She was a member of Bally Senior Citizens.

Florence is survived by daughters, Sandra D. (Hoffman) Smits, Hamburg, Pamela J. (Hoffman) Fegley, Alburtis, Susan K. (Hoffman) Fridinger, Topton; sons, Donald R., husband of Brenda L. (Cunningham) Hoffman, Barto, and Robert B. Hoffman, Macungie; sister, Marion (Moser) Lambert, Bath; ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  She was pre-deceased by brothers, Ernest and Edward Moser.

A funeral service to celebrate Florence's life will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. in Ludwick Funeral Homes, 25 East Weis Street, Topton, with Rev. Dr. Colleen G. Kristula officiating. Interment will follow in Huff's Church Union Cemetery, Alburtis.  Relatives and friends may call Monday from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
