The Life of WAYNE OTTO BRUS
Wayne Otto Brus of Ankeny passed away March 28, 2016, while in Spring Valley, Illinois.
Wayne was born January 20, 1941 in Carroll, Iowa to Arnold and Luella Brus of Manning, Iowa. He grew up with a farm background and after he graduated from Manning Community Schools, he attended and graduated from Iowa State University with degrees in Architectural Engineering and a Masters in Computer Sciences.
Wayne is survived by his wife Joyce, whom he married in 1986, with stepchildren Kim Stroup, Cindy Lynch and Nicholas Stuart. Other survivors are sister, Georgia Musfeldt, with a nephew Michael Musfeldt, and nieces Jennifer Reed and Sara Lancaster. In addition, he left nephews Mathew Brus, Andrew Brus, and Ryan Brus. Preceding him in death were his parents, brother Robert Brus and stepchild Michael Stuart.
For the last 38 Years Wayne has worked as a partner at Davis Consultants in Ankeny.
