The Life of Michael A. Bollinger
Michael A. Bollinger, 55, of Maxatawny Township, died of natural causes Sunday, February 18, 2018 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Connie L. (Green) Bollinger. They were married May 20, 2006. Born in Palmerton, he was a son of the late Martin N. and Pearl M. (Beaver) Bollinger. Michael honorably and faithfully served his country as a veteran of the United States Army. He was employed as a truck driver over 30 years, most recently for Baseline Transportation, Inc., Allentown. He last worked Friday, February 16, 2018. Mike enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
In addition to his wife of 11 years, Connie, Michael is survived by his step sons, Jeffrey A. husband of Megan E. (Schantz) Ruth, Alburtis; Richard M. Ruth, Jr., Breinigsville; and Jonathan S. husband of Angela L. (Roadarmel) Marchiani, Kutztown. Other survivors include, a brother, Martin Bollinger, Lehighton; three daughters from a previous marriage; three sisters. There are also four step grandchildren, Asher J. Ruth, Heather M. Ruth, Allis M. Ruth and Luis E. Yapor.
Funeral services for Michael will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in Ludwick Funeral Home, 333 Greenwich Street, Kutztown, with Reverend Jane M. Kropa, officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
