The Life of John E Cullen
John Ebert Cullen, 83, of Pottsville, passed away peacefully Thursday at The Meadows at York Terrace.
John was born in Pottsville, Aug. 1, 1934, a son of the late William and Laura Ebert Cullen.
He was the husband of Catherine Lulu Dullard Cullen.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran, Pottsville. He served in the Marines. He was a member of the Marine Corps Coal Cracker Detachment and the NRA.
He was preceded in death by a son, Willaim B. Cullen.
John is survived by his wife, Catherine; a daughter, Colleen B., wife of Frank Eldredge, Conroe, Texas; a son, John "J.C.," husband of Deanna Cullen, New Philadelphia; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
All are respectfully invited to attend a visitation from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville. Interment with military honors will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made to the American Diabetes Foundation. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc. is entrusted with the arrangements.
