The Life of Jayne T. Paull

Jayne T. (Treon) Paull, 87, of Topton, passed away on Monday, January 8, 2017 in her residence. She was the widow of Major William Paull, U.S. Army, Retired, who died in 1998, and the former wife of Harold W. Geist, Jr., Bethlehem. Born in Pottsville, Jayne was a daughter of the late Paul C. and Elizabeth (Vogel) Rausch. She was a 1948 graduate of William Allen High School, Allentown, and a 1952 graduate of East Stroudsburg State Teacher's College, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education. Jayne was employed by Allentown School District, working as a science teacher at Harrison-Morton Middle School, for 20 years. She later attained her Certified Respiratory Therapist certification from Lehigh Carbon Community College, and worked as a C.R.T. at several hospitals including Easton Hospital, Grand View Hospital, Muhlenberg Hospital, and Warren Hospital, where she retired.  Jayne enjoyed crossword puzzles, making stained glass artwork, and was proud of her extensive movie collection.

Jayne is survived by her children, Michael K. Cox, Orefield, Richard M. Cox, Orefield, Christopher S. Geist, and his girlfriend, Rev. Lisa K. Borrell, Fountain Hill, Robyn S. (Geist), wife of James E. Gralinski, Topton; and her nine grandchildren, Jessikka Cox-Denman, wife of Shawn Denman, Petty Officer Second Class Nicole Geist, U.S. Navy, Christopher Geist, Alexandra Geist, Nichelle Geist, Ted Gralinski, Emily Gralinski, Hanna Gralinski and Nathan Gralinski. She was predeceased by her husband, parents, son, Timothy S. Geist in 2010, and a brother, William Treon.

A memorial service to celebrate Jayne's life will be held at a future date.
