The Life of Mary E Bensinger
Mary E. Bensinger of Doylestown, PA passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 in the Wesley Enhanced Living Skilled Nursing Facility, Doylestown, PA. She was 97.
Born in New Philadelphia, PA to the late John Yeager and Emma Troy, she was a lifelong resident of Harrisburg, PA before moving to Doylestown, PA 14 years ago.
She was formerly employed with Sears Department Store of Harrisburg, PA and was a graduate of Port Carbon High School. Mary was a former member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Paxtang, PA and also enjoyed reading, crocheting, gardening and flowers.
She was the devoted mother of Sharon Lee Shaw and late husband Emerson; loving grandmother of Andrew Shaw and wife Kara, Jennifer Muntz and husband Edward; cherished great-grandmother of Matthew and Michael Shaw, Jacob and Ryan Muntz.
A graveside service will be held at Schuykill Memorial Park, 75 Memorial Drive, Schuykill Haven, PA 17972 on Thursday, January 11th at 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 3700 Rutherford Street, Harrisburg, PA 17111 would be appreciated.
