The Life of Patsy R Clews


Patsy R. Anderko Clews, 86, of Pottsville, passed away Saturday morning at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Schuylkill E. Norwegian Street.

Born in Llewellyn, Oct. 13, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Andrea and Louisa Eisenacher Anderko.

She was a graduate of Pottsville High School and a member of United Presbyterian Church, Pottsville.

Pat was a teller at Miners National Bank for 31 years, retiring in 1996.

She was a member of the Pottsville Lions Club, where she was a past secretary and treasurer, and past president of both the Lionettes and Greenwood Hill Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Raymond H. Clews, on Dec. 4, 2008, to whom she was married 56 years; sisters, Jeanne Ameden, Lillian Anderko, and Nancy Jones.

Pat is survived by a son, David Clews, widower of Margie, Auburn; a daughter, Linda Kerstetter, wife of Don, Harrisburg; grandchildren, Brooke Kuhlen, wife of Michael, Harleysville, Jason Clews, husband of Leah, Pottsville, and Anna, Julie and Maria Kerstetter; great-grandchildren, Katie, Lily, and Zoe Kuhlen and Maxwell, Quincy, Hudson and Wyatt Clews; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Lord-Bixler Funeral Home Inc., 1818 Mahantongo St., Pottsville. A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. The family request contributions in Pat's memory be sent to Pottsville/Schuylkill Haven Emergency Medical Services, P.O.
