The Life of LEBARTES WAYNE VERWERS

LeBartes (Bart) Verwers was born April 6, 1972 to Leonard and Marsha Verwers in Des Moines, Iowa. Bart passed away on January 31, 2019 at Broadlawns Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marsha Verwers and grandparents, LeBartes and Alda Verwers and Donald Stark. He is survived by his father, Leonard and stepmother, Kathy of Mitchellville, Iowa; brother, Leonard Verwers of Illinois; sister, Briana Burkout of Illinois; grandmother, Charlotte Stark of Des Moines; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Gospel Assembly Church, 7135 Meredith Drive, Urbandale, IA. Interment is planned for April 6, 2019 at Highland Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be directed to Gospel Assembly Christian Academy.
