The Life of John Paul Bahian

John P. Bahian

92, of Smithfield, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on  Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Dolores N. (Gureghian) Bahian. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Boghos and Lousaper (Aramagian) Bahian. John was a US Marine Corps veteran serving during WW II. He was a letter carrier for the US Postal Service for thirty-five years before his retirement.

He is survived by his loving children, Stacey L. Bahian-Khatchadourian and her husband Levon of Smithfield and Paul B. Bahian of Downingtown, PA. John was the cherished grandfather Leila Khatchadourian and Aren Khatchadourian. He was the brother of Anthony Bahian of Warwick, and the late Peter Bahian and Lillian Kasperian. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his VISITING HOURS on Saturday from 3-5 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston .  His funeral service will be held in St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church, 8701 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Road, Drexel Hill, PA at a time to be announced by the Vraim Funeral Home, 66 South State Road, Upper Darby, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, 402 Broadway, Providence, RI 02909 or St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Apostolic Church, 8701 Ridge Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19128.
