The Life of Janis Lynn Bader
Funeral Service will be held at a 12:00PM on Thursday, December 7, 2017
in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Janis Lynn Champagne Bader,
69, who passed away on November 28, 2017.
Deacon Cody Miller will conduct the funeral service.
Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Janis, a lifelong resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Clarence Champagne and the former Marjorie Guidry. She enjoyed creating things of beauty and spent her time as an avid gardner and craft hobbyist. In the end she was surrounded by family and friends all of whom she loved dearly.
She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Guidry Champagne; brother, Cyrus Champagne; son, Paul Bader; two nieces, Lauren Champagne and Jennifer Menard; nephew, Gregory Champagne; and her two beloved dogs, Cali and Mia.
She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Bernard Champagne.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 10:00AM until the time of service.
Pallbearers will be Cyrus Champagne, Paul Bader, Bill Foreman, Jack Emling, Ray Leach and Bryan Fuselier.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA is in charge of funeral arrangements.
