The Life of Dallas F. Kramer

Dallas F. Kramer, 70, of Kutztown, died on Wednesday, November 22, 2017, in The Reading Hospital and Medical Center, West Reading, where he was a patient since November 13, 2017.  He was the loving husband of Brenda L. (Specht) Kramer.  They were married April 17, 1971.  Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Frank A. and Verna E. (Fitzgerald) Kramer.  Dallas was a member of the Zion Moselem Lutheran Church, Richmond Township. He honorably and faithfully served our country as a United States Army Veteran, with service during the Vietnam War.  Dallas was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School, Class of 1965.  Mr. Kramer was employed as paint foreman at Hamburg Center, Hamburg, for over 30 years until his retirement.  Prior, he owned and operated Frank A. Kramer & Son Painting, Roofing and Home Repair, Kutztown. He enjoyed antique furniture restoration and wood burning art.  Dallas enjoyed spending time with his family and working around his home. Dallas was a member of Behler-Hein Post 637 American Legion, Hamburg.

In addition to his wife of 46 years, Brenda, Dallas is survived by a son: Charles F. Kramer, Kutztown. Other survivors include a brother, Clark F. Kramer, Walnuttown. There are four grandchildren, Cody F., husband of Tanjie D. (Smith) Kramer; Nicholas F. Kramer, and Twins Ashlie L. and Danielle L. Kramer. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Georgia R. (Correll) Specht, Hamburg. In addition to his parents, Dallas was predeceased by a son, Ashley F. Kramer on August 14, 1982; and a brother, Timothy F. Kramer.

A memorial service to celebrate Dallas's life will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from Zion Moselem Lutheran Church, 340 Moselem Church Road, Kutztown, with Deacon Linda S. Zawaski, officiating. Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.  Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Friday, December 1, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. in the church.
