The Life of Elizabeth Lucille Knobloch

Elizabeth Lucille Olivier Knobloch (Mimi) received her angel wings on Tuesday, November 14, 2017. She was called to heaven at home while peacefully sleeping with a loved one by her side. Mimi’s passing was bittersweet; her family is devastated at their loss, but know she’s in the arms of those who cherished her.

Mrs. Knobloch was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church and worked at Amoco Production for many years. Going to Amoco reunions brought her great joy. The loves of her life still on this earth are Ronald Page Knobloch, M.D. and his wife Betty, Keri Elizabeth Knobloch Davies and her husband Robert; grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne Davies Threeton and her husband Lawson, Susan Lynne Davies Turgeau and her husband Christian, Jason Willard Knobloch and his wife, Ida and Page Kristine Knobloch Kremer and her husband Brian; great grandchildren, Maya Elizabeth Dake, Alayna Michelle Dake, Elliott Stedman Turgeau and Abigail Elizabeth Turgeau and many nieces and nephews.

Mimi was preceded in death by Guy John Knobloch, Jr., her beloved husband of 59 years; Lucille Page Olivier, the mother she loved and adored and Harold James Olivier, her brother and his wife, Martha Lee.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 18, 2017 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Delhomme Funeral Home - Bertrand on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Visiting hours will continue on Saturday from 9:00AM until the time of service.

Rev. Wayne Evans will conduct the funeral service with musical accompaniment by Denise Melancon.

Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be Barry Chaisson, Cory Davies, Jason Knobloch, Brian Kremer, Adnan Qarib and Christian Turgeau. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Davies, Ronald Knobloch and Russell Picard.

Special thanks from the family to Helen Doucet, Susan Guidry and St. Joseph’s Hospice for their care and support.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent to the Gary Sinise Foundation, P.O. Box 50008, Studio City, CA to aid our veterans or to Acadiana Animal Aid, in lieu of flowers.
