The Life of Mary Y Paparides
Mary Y. Paparides (nee Caponigro) passed away on September 24, 2017. She was 94 years old.
Mary began working as a seamstress for the ILGWU (International Ladies Garment Worker’s Union) at 16 years old, and retired after 55 years of dedicated service.
Mary’s life could be described as one that was spent working hard to provide for her family. Her humbled personality allowed her to live a simple life, nonetheless, a very memorable one.
Mary was a beloved wife to her late husband James. Loving mother to her son James and his wife Rosalie. She was a caring Grandmother to Sarah-Jane and James, Jr.
Mary’s Life Celebration gathering will be held on Thursday, September 28 from 9:00am-10:00am at Givnish of Cinnaminson 1200 Route 130 North. Entombment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.
