The Life of Fay Carol Johnson Taylor

Fay Carol Johnson Taylor was born on September 1, 1961 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Omar Johnson and Rachel Jackson. She later met and married Darius L. Taylor with whom she shared twenty-five years of marriage.

On September 22, 2017 Fay departed this life in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the age of fifty-six years.

She was a graduate of Overbrook High School and was a dedicated Homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting. Fay was a devoted mother and wife and always found an encouraging word to share. She always spoke positive words to her children. Fay was a "FASIONISTA".

In addition to her husband Darius, Fay's great legacy will forever be cherished by her sons: Kyle and Darius Taylor both of Philadelphia, John Taylor of Darby, her daughters: Constance Johnson of Media and Shay Taylor of Ridley Township, her grandchildren: Qadry Taylor, Hasan Taylor, Malachi Johnson, Kylie Johnson and Caiden Taylor, three brothers: Reginald Jones and his wife Amanda of Upper Malboro, MD, Gary Johnson and his wife JoAnna of Scranton, PA and Michael Jones and his wife Brent of Los Angeles, CA, four sisters: Shianne Johnson and Jacqueline Jenkins both of Harrisburg, Beverly Spoonhour of Fayetteville, PA and Clarissa Evans and her husband Christopher of Hampton, VA, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Fay was predeceased by six siblings: Phyllis Tasker, Ferdinand Jones, Deborah Robinson, Daniel Johnson, Steven Jones and Gregory Johnson.
