The Life of Thomas G. Walker Jr.

Thomas (Tommy) Green Walker, Jr. a long time resident of Delran, NJ and most recently Burlington, NJ, died unexpectedly on August 12, 2017 at the age of 55. Tommy was the son of (late) Thomas Sr. and (late) Benavie Walker in Philadelphia, PA on January 27, 1962. He was raised in Delran, New Jersey and attended Delran public schools. He graduated from Delran High School in 1982. Tommy was initially employed in manufacturing jobs. In 2007, Tommy graduated from Cittone Institute as a Pharmacy Technician. He was employed by Rite-Aid Pharmacy as a Licensed Pharmacy Technician for many years. In his early years Tommy was educated with the arts. Tommy was an author in his own right often writing poetry as a way to spend his free time. He also had an affinity for playing musical instruments, most recently teaching himself to play the guitar. When thinking of Tommy’s greatest abilities, nothing comes to mind quicker than his aptitude for sport knowledge. His skill in recalling statistics and scores from games and teams, throughout all the major sport leagues, were unparalleled. On Saturday, August 12, 2017, Tommy went home to meet his heavenly Father. He is looking forward to seeing his parents in heaven. Tommy leaves to cherish his memory, his brother Malcolm (Jeanine), uncles, cousins, relatives, and a host of friends. He will be missed by many people whose lives and hearts he touched.
