The Life of Tommy Milnamow

Thomas (Tommy) Milnamow, 47, Special Olympian, of Malvern, PA, died September 4, 2017 at home.Tommy was with his sisters and beloved pets, fighting a strong battle against Alzheimer’s disease until the very last. Born in Philadelphia, raised in Upper Darby, he attended St. Katherine Day School in Wynnewood. He was a member of St. Patrick Church in Malvern. Tommy participated and medaled in the Special Olympics. His events were Golf, Equestrian and Bowling. Of all the events, he most enjoyed golf. Tommy was an avid Eagles and wrestling fan. He enjoyed painting, music, singing and dancing, especially to Elvis and Jimmy Buffett. Tommy loved road trips, cruises, concerts, and spending time with friends and family.

Every day was an adventure and a chance to share his genuine joy for life with the people he met along the way. Tommy formerly worked at the Greenhouse at Devereaux Whitlock Center in Devon. More recently he attended Handi-Crafters Older Adults Daily Living Center in Thorndale.

Tommy was the son of Patricia Milnamow who died in 2014.

Survivors: include his sisters, Trish Milnamow and Mary Milnamow, brother, Martin Milnamow and his father, Edward Milnamow

Service: Memorial Mass will be 11 AM Tues, September 12, 2017, at St. Patrick Church, 104 Channing Avenue, Malvern PA 19355

Visitation: 10:00-11AM Tues in Church

Interment: Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon, PA will be private.

Contributions: Contributions in his memory to the Handi-Crafters Older Adult Daily Living Center would be preferred. Handi-Crafters, 215 Barley Sheaf Road, Thorndale, PA 19372

A Most Happy Fella

Tommy was always friendly, happy, and jokey. He went for the laugh and loved to laugh. Few had a more winning smile. He always made the day better.
