The Life of Jean M. Reilley

Jean M. (nee Gamble) Reilley, 91, formerly of Yeadon passed away suddenly on August 30, 2017 at her daughter's  home.

Born and raised in Southwest Philadelphia, she was a graduate of  John Bartram High School, class of 1943. Mrs. Reilley had been employed as a Personal Secretary by Edward Stern Publishing Company and during WWII for the Quartermaster Corps.

Jean enjoyed traveling, especially vacationing in Lancaster County, Hershey, and North Wildwood . She was a former active member of Woodland Ave. United Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia and a charter member of The Chapel of the Good Shepherd in Yeadon. She was a 50+ year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

 She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph, who died in 2000. Survivors: include her daughters, Janice Reilley, Ed.D.,  Debra Kuchmay (John), Joanne Valera (Jose); grandchildren, Michael and Joseph Katze; Nicholas and Laura Kuchmay and 2 great- grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Robert H & Mable Gamble, and sister of the late Robert H. Gamble, Jr.

Service: Funeral Service will be 11AM Wed. at Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington, 2900 State Rd. Drexel Hill, Pa 19026 Visitation: begins at 10AM.  

Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA.

Contributions: in her memory to the Shriner Hospital for Children would be preferred.
