The Life of Anne M. Flanagan

Anne M. (nee Reardon) Flanagan, 85, of Drexel Hill, died August 1, 2017 at Broomall Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, she was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church.  A graduate of West Catholic High School for Girls, she was an outstanding athlete. She played tennis everyday and was sought after as a coach.

Anne enjoyed bowling at Sproul Lanes, crocheting and playing bingo at St. Andrew's and the VFW.

She was a member of the Aronimink Swim Club and Idle Hour Tennis Club. An avid Philadelphia sports fan, devoted to her family, she will be remembered as a loving mom and grandmom.

Beloved wife of the late Edward J., and mother of the late Kevin, Survivors include her children, Edward J. Flanagan, Jr. (Claudia), Barbara Barycki, Timothy Flanagan (Alice), Thomas Flanagan and Charles (Kathy Shaffer) Flanagan; her daughter in law, Debra Flanagan, 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Her Funeral Service will 1PM Saturday, at the Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Rd., Drexel Hill with Visitation: beginning at 12 noon.

Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026
