The Life of Steve Marko

Steve Marko, age 84, a resident of the Milmont Park section of Ridley Township and a former resident of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2017 at Riddle Memorial Hospital with his family by his side.

He was born in Philadelphia the son of Stephan and Helen Marko.

Steve was employed as an operation supervisor at Berm Studios, Inc. in Yeadon for 30 years until his retirement.

He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army.

Steve was a member of St. Patrick's Chapel in Ardmore.  He enjoyed fishing in his spare time and loved to travel.  Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; his sons, Stephen and his wife Becky and David and his wife Barbara; and his grandchildren, Daniel, Alex, Jonathan, Christopher, and Annabelle.

His burial will be in Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Pa.

In lieu of flowers, contributions made in Steve's memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by his family.
