The Life of LINDA J MCLAUGHLIN

She was married March 21, 1964 to Vincent L. McLaughlin.

Born in Reading, Pa., on June 30, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Arthur J. Sr., and Anna G. (Ernst) Speece.

Linda attended Central Catholic High School.

She was last employed 15 years with Crompton & Knowles Corp., Gibraltar, as a lab technician.

Linda was a member of St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

She loved playing bingo, taking bus trips to the casinos and going to the beach, but most important to her was spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Linda is also survived by three children, Lori A., wife of Art M. Burkett, of Albuquerque, N.M.; Michelle M., wife of Eric E. Heathershaw, of Lower Heidelberg Township, and Michael V., husband of Lexie N. (Rimel) McLaughlin, of Hereford Township.

She was affectionately know as "Grammy" to seven grandchildren: Anthony (1987-1997), Leah, James, Joseph, Cade, Nolan and Mackenzie.

Other survivors include seven siblings: Arthur J. Speece Jr., of Exeter Township, David G., husband of Jane M. Speece, of Bonita Springs, Fla., Joanne M., wife of David E. Waligurski Sr., of Mohnton, Glenn B. Speece, of Cumru Township, Gerald A. Speece, of Temple, Mark B., husband of Donna L. Speece, of Exeter Township, and Dianne L., wife of Kirby Hartzell, of Florida.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, July 29th at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Resurrection at Gethsemane Cemetery, 3139 Kutztown Road, Muhlenberg Township. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass in the Chapel.
