The Life of Arthur Miller

 Arthur Robert Miller, age 94, a longtime Oxford resident currently of Shelton, died July 21. He was born August 22, 1922 in Ansonia, son of the late John H. and Minnie Ireland Miller. Arthur graduated from UCONN and served in U.S. Navy during World War II. He served on the staff of Admiral Nimitz and was stationed in Guam. He worked in the payroll Dept. at Sikorsky's in Stratford. Arthur loved the great outdoors, he was an avid gardener, hiker & traveler. He leaves to cherish his memory 2 sisters, Fern M. Seccombe & husband Donald of Ansonia & Olive Fletcher & husband Alan of Farmington. He also leaves many nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings Dorothy Bartolotta, Helen Craig, John E. Miller & Jean Vroom as well as his longtime companion June Behuniak. Funeral services will begin on Wednesday, July 26 at 11:00 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St. Ansonia. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. before the service.
