Gerald Duane Hagglund Monday, July 3, 1933 - Saturday, July 15, 2017

Gerald D. Hagglund, On July 15, 2017, age 84 of Broomall for the past 40 years.

Born in Snohomish, WA, he attended and graduated from Kings High School in Seattle, WA, class of 1951, he went on with his education and graduated from North West Bible College in Seattle, WA in 1955.

He first started his lifes journey as a Pastor in Council, ID, he went on to join the Boeing Co. in 1956 and worked at their facilities in Seattle, North Dakota, Washington D.C. and retiring from the Eddystone facility in 1976 in Production Control. He then went to work for Exxon in their QYX facility in Lionville till retiring in 1981.

He also kept himself busy working at the Hide & Sheep Leather clothing store that was located in Clifton Heights and Paoli when the shop moved.   Gerald was a memeber of Lions, while working in Clifton Heights. He was also a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church in Broomall, where he served as Usher, Trustee and helped with the Community Food Bank.

 He married the former Aice Atamian on Aug 23, 1975, who survives him along with six children and three step children, and many grand and great grandchildren.

 Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Service on Saturday at 11:00AM in the St. Marks United Methodist Church, 2220 Lewis Rd., Broomall, PA,19008 where friends may call after 10:00 AM.

Memorials may be sent in his name to St. Marks Church.

Interment is Private.

A luncheon will follow at St. Marks UM Church in the church hall for relatives and friends following the interment.
