The Life of Richard R. Sr. Schwenke

Richard R. “Dick” Schwenke, Sr., a longtime resident of Sharon Hill passed away at home on April 12, 2017 at the age of 76.

Richard was the son of the late Fritz E. and Anna L. Schwenke. Dick graduated from Bartram High School in 1958. He retired from Swiss Farms after more than 30 years of service.

Dick was a member of the Sharon Hill Fire Company and a leader for the Boy Scouts. He volunteered his time for meals on wheels and enjoyed traveling taking road trips to baseball stadiums and state capitals.

In addition to his parents, Richard was predeceased by his brother Fritz L. Schwenke.

Survivors; loving father of Richard R. Jr. (Joanne), Keith D. and Glen J. (Patti). Devoted grandfather of Erica, Christian and Melissa. Also survived by his 3 great-grandchildren and his sister Louise M. Griffith.

Burial private.
