The Life of Sally Folger Speaker

Speaker, Sally F., 87 of Ocean City, NJ, formerly of Wallingford, PA, died on January 1, 2017.

Born in Germantown, PA, she attended Friends Central High School where she competed in Field Hockey and Lacrosse and met the love of her life, Dwight W. Speaker, Sr. She graduated from Penn State University, traveling to Gettysburg College on weekends to watch Dwight play football.

Sally was active on the Nether Providence school board for many years and an avid sports fan her whole life. Forever loyal to her Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles.

She is survived by her sons, Dwight (Kathleen) Speaker, Richard (Paulette) Speaker, daughter Cynthia (Robert) Reich, 6 grandchildren (Ryan, Caitlin, Casie, Jason, Dixon, and Tyler) and 3 great-grandchildren (Harrison, Asher, and Harvey).

Her funeral service and internment will be private at the convenience of her family.
