The Life of Marcel Scalabrini
ANSONIA: Marcel G. Scalabrini, 77,
entered into eternal rest on April 3,
2017, at MidState Medical Center in
Meriden. He was the beloved husband
of the late Cecile Nicol Scalabrini. Mr.
Scalabrini was born in Ste. Edwidge,
Quebec, Canada on August 21, 1939,
son of the late Augustin and Irene
Perreault Scalabrini. He was employed
as a carpenter for Union Local 210 in
Bridgeport until his retirement in 1987.
Marcel enjoyed spending time in his
garden. He is survived by a daughter,
Brigitte Scalabrini of Seymour, brothers, Andre Scalabrini and his wife
Huguette of Ansonia and Roger, Germain, Raymond and Maurice Scalabrini
of Quebec, Canada, sisters, Lucille, Carmen and Lorraine Scalabrini of
Quebec, Canada and numerous nieces, nephews and canine buddy Sidney.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday April 6, 2017, from 9:30 to 10:30
am in the chapel of the SPINELLIRICCIUTI/BEDNAROSIECKI
FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. At 10:30 am, a funeral
service in celebration of Marcel’s life will take place with Deacon Richard
Renker officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Pine Grove
