The Life of Cheryl B Brown

Services for Cheryl B. Brown, 69, of Concord Township, will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Elder David A. Webster of the Church of Jesus Christ, Kirtland Restoration Branch will officiate at the service.
Mrs. Brown passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017 at Mentor-Woods Care Center in Mentor. Born September 16, 1947 in East Cleveland, she was a lifelong Lake County resident and has lived in Concord Township for the past 30 years.
She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Willoughby Chapter 202 and the Order of the Amaranth Strauss Memorial Court 41 a former member of Galilee White Shrine. She enjoyed crafting, stamping, and scrapbooking.
Mrs. Brown was employed as a teacher in the Mentor Public Schools for 36 years, retiring in 2004.
Survivors are her husband of 30 years, Thomas D. Brown; brother, Thomas G. Neville of Lamoni, IA; niece, Jennifer (Matt) Jahn and nephew, Jeffrey Utz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Byron J. and Faye Etta (Davis) Neville; sister, Anita Utz and nephew, B.J. Utz.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the funeral home. Private entombment will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to the family or Order of the Amaranth, Strauss Memorial Court, in care of the funeral home.
