The Life of Edna E. Jershky

Edna Elizabeth Jershky of Malvern, PA died peacefully Tuesday, March 21st at her daughter's home in Westminster, California with her family by her side.

Edna was born in Philadelphia on May 29, 1926 to Bertram and Edna (nee Ogden) Edwards.  She attended elementary school in Philadelphia and graduated from Miami High School in Florida.

She and her late husband, Warren were members of St. Matthews Methodist Church and moved in 1952 to the house they built in Lansdowne, PA.  As a member of Lansdowne Methodist Church,  Edna also joined the women's bowling league.  They were active square dancers and in later years, had the opportunity to travel the United States and abroad, which she truly enjoyed.

Survivors: Daughter, Carol E. Merdjanian (Varoujan) and son, Wayne T. Jershky (Wendy). Grandchildren: Melody Merdjanian, Kelsey and Wyatt Jershky.

A graveside service will be held in Arlington Cemetery on Friday, March 31st at 11:00AM.
