The Life of William I. Cianci D.D.S.

William I. "Willie" Cianci, 81, died Jan. 7, 2008, at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland.

He was born in Holmes, Pa., and was a part-time resident of Stuart, coming from Wallingford, Pa.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Before retirement, he was a dental surgeon in Wallingford. He graduated from Ridley Township High School in Delaware County, Pa., where he earned varsity letters in track, football and basketball. He attended Villanova, Penn State and University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated with honors.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Gaintner Cianci of Wallingford; sons, Mark Cianci of Waverly, Pa., Christopher Cianci of Madison, Conn., and Curtis Cianci of West Long Branch, N.J.; sister, Madge Wertzberger; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Olive Cianci, and brother, Mario Cianci.
