The Life of ERIC MATTHEW ROBERTS
Eric Matthew Roberts, 47, passed away on March 8, 2017. He was born in Des Moines, on February 22, 1970, the son of Norman and Jackie Roberts.
Eric grew up in Des Moines and graduated for East High School in 1988. He worked as a manager in retail. Eric enjoyed the outdoors, biking and walking. He loved music, movies, animals and above all his family.
Eric is survived by his mother, Jackie Roberts; father, Norman Roberts; siblings, Renee (Jay Bishop) Cort, Ryan (Christy) Roberts, Lindsay (Nick) Bethards; aunts and uncles, Richard Wall, Lynnette (Vivian-dog) Wall, Bill (Karen) Roberts, Judy Johnston and Beverly Roberts; nieces and nephews, Taylor, MacKenzie, Lucas, Christian, Rylee, Cash, Reese, Gracie, Kinley, Hudson, and Hank; three great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Mary Wall, Boyd and Lena Roberts; uncles, Brian Wall and Larry Roberts; and his dog, Johnny.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday also at the funeral home.
