The Life of MARGARET EVA CHAVANNES
Margaret E. Chavannes, 103, died Saturday, February 25, 2017 in Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Chavannes.
Survivors include son Richard (Nancy), daughter Marilyn (Mitch) Hanna, 4 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
Born in Delta, IA on November 5, 1913, she moved to Des Moines in 1923 and graduated from North High School. She was a member of Cottage Grove Presbyterian Church and PEO.
A Celebration of Life with family and friends will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 1 to 3pm at the Scottish Rite Park Penthouse, 2909 Woodland in Des Moines.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Alzheimer''s Foundation (www.alz.org)
