The Life of Kenneth Silva
Kenneth F. Silva, age 89, husband of the late Dorothy Moore Silva and longtime Ansonia resident, passed away
February 8, 2017. He was born March 16, 1927 in Derby, son of the late Peter Correia Silva and Elsie Barry Silva.
Kenneth worked for CT Dept. of Transportation and was a parishioner of The Church of The Assumption in
Ansonia. He was predeceased by siblings Dorothy Richards, Catherine Andrade, Barbara Roseboro, Joe Silva
and Paul Silva. He is survived by daughter Jessica Silva of Washington, D.C.; sons Craig Silva of Lebanon, ME
and Kenneth Silva Jr. of Naugatuck; sister Mary Silva of Tuscumbia, AL; five grandchildren; Miranda Silva, Craig
Silva Jr., Joseph Silva, Emily Silva and Ifasen Kwame; beloved nephew Keith Roseboro of Bridgeport and a host of
other nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews and four greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held
on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin St.,
Ansonia. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, February 17, 2017 from 9:00 to
11:00 a.m. at the funeral home before the service.
