The Life of FRANCES DELANE HAMMERNICK
Frances Delane "Dee" Hammernick died suddenly in her home on Wednesday, February 1st. Her son was by her side.
She was 82 years old and loved by many. She had a heart of gold, was a loving wife, mother and friend.
She is survived by her sons, Marvin Hammernick Jr., Bruce Green, and her estranged, daughter Sherry Strasser. She had 7 Grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was never not there for her children and will be missed by many.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Avenue in Des Moines with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in loving memory of Frances.
